Obituary for JoAnn Lund
JoAnn Tomlinson Lund, passed away very quietly and unexpectedly of heart failure, on Sunday, December 3, 2017, just three weeks short of she and her husband’s sixtieth wedding anniversary.
JoAnn was born on September 14, 1935 in Poynette, Wisconsin to Joe and Anne Marie Tomlinson.
JoAnn grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. She graduated from North Dakota State University in 1957 with a degree in Home Economics. JoAnn and her beloved husband, David, married in December of that same year.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, David; son, Brad of Houston and his daughter, Maddy and stepdaughter, Hannah; daughter, Cindy and husband Je Livin of Lufkin, Texas and their children, Cassidy and husband Cash Kirkland, Jessie and Tanner; and her three sisters, Jane and husband Bob of Houston, Charlotte and husband David also of Houston, and Anna Marie of Spokane, Washington.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at First Methodist Church Houston, 1320 Main Street, with a visitation to begin at 10:00 AM. All are invited to greet the family during a reception immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall. JoAnn will be laid to rest beside her parents, in Wisconsin, at a later date.
