Obituary for Cheryl Heinrich Cummings

Cheryl Heinrich Cummings
On the morning of November 3rd, 2017, Cheryl was called Home by her Heavenly Father while asleep at her home in Stafford, Texas.

Cheryl Suzanne Heinrich was born in Houston, Texas on March 17th, 1954 to Robert (Bob) Heinrich and Carol Fritsch Heinrich. She always enjoyed having St. Patrick’s Day as her birthday.

Cheryl’s life could be described by the word “passion.” She was passionate about every relationship she had; every endeavor, such as dance and horseback riding; her children and animals including horses, cats, and dogs.

Cheryl graduated from Sterling High School in 1972, then attended the University of St. Thomas where she met her future husband, Frank A. Cummings. She was a devout Catholic, being gifted with a strong devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Those awaiting her in Heaven include her parents; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Saundra Gay.

She will live on in the hearts of her husband; her children, Troy, Meghan, and Geoff (Myra) and their twin daughters, Cara and Emma; stepmother, Janice Heinrich; sister, Michelle Heinrich; her niece and nephew; her stepsister, Reeda Bruce; and stepbrother, Floyd Devasier. She leaves many other relatives and friends such as her closest friends, Jeanette Munoz and her children, and Donna Moshtagh.

Cheryl never made a distinction between friends and family. If you were her friend, you were part of her family.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Friday, November 17th, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd. in Sugar Land. A reception will immediately follow in the Parish Hall. Family and Friends will gather for The Rite of Committal at 1:00 PM, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St. in Houston.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Go Fund Me account, https://www.gofundme.com/as3697-cheryl-cummings-funeral-expenses, which has been created to assist with funeral expenses.
